Based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, CAA offers rock and ice climbing instruction as well as guided ascents throughout Colorado, Utah, and beyond. We are a full service guide outfit offering activities ranging from an aspiring climber's first day on the rock to guided ascents of the best peaks in North America.  Instruction and guided climbs are available for families as well as seasoned climbers looking to expand their skills.

Black Diamond Half DomeThe Black Diamond Half Home is now working its way into classic status.  Very light, very durable and pretty cheap, what else can you ask for. Baking in the Colorado sun in July, you may wish for a few more vents on the Half Dome, but otherwise its a great contender for all around use.  We use BD Half Domes for trad cragging, multipitch, ice and alpine year round.  If you are in the market for a light durable peice of protection, check it out.  This helmet is similr in price to the Camp Armour and Mammut Skywalker lids.
